Goodness, has it been that long since we Wingtipped you? Although it’s been a busy month, we’ll try not to go on at length. Where do we start? We could start with the Community Futures video we’re working on with innovative Vancouver animation firm, Giant Ant. But instead, How about we take you to Montreal, where Andrew, Jenny, Nik, Caroll and Wayne spent the week of September 29th meeting with American Iron & Metal? Our trip there was to once again meet, greet and thank them after they graciously awarded us the contract to rebrand their group of companies. By the way, AIM is a global metal recycling company with revenues of a hair over $1.5 billion. Included in their mix of businesses are AIM Solder, Delsan AIM, Kenny U-Pull and an airline (AIM Aviation).
Much of the time was spent with project lead and CIO, Lisbet Paulovich and other company executives. After touring the company’s various operations, we were, quite frankly, blown away. Friendly people, first class facilities and outstanding hospitality: it’s no wonder the company is growing so fast. In the end, we came back with tremendous insight, hundreds of Nik’s photographs and a few extra pounds from all the smoked meat we were spoiled with. Next steps: brand architecture that will help define all of the AIM companies as a united force, while still retaining their core values and distinctive culture. We’ll let you know how it goes. In the meantime, enclosed here are few images relating to AIM. The first is one of two press snippets about our account win that appeared in The Victoria Times Colonist and Business Examiner Vancouver Island. (Thank you TC and BEVI) plus a few photos of our trip.
